Banana Bread

Step 1

Pre-heat the oven to 170°C and line the loaf tin with the greaseproof paper provided

Step 2

In a large bowl, crack the eggs and beat with a fork until just mixed

Step 3

Add the oil, vanilla, and sugars and mix

Step 4

Peel the bananas and mash them into the mixture

Step 5

Add the dry ingredients and fold in until combined

If no additional ingredients were selected skip to Step 7

Step 6

Using a chopping board and a sharp knife chop the nuts into small chunks and fold into the batter

Step 7

Pour the batter into the loaf tin and bake in the centre of the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the cocktail stick comes out clean

Step 8

Remove from oven once done and allow bread to cool, in tin, on a cooling rack for 15 minutes

Once cooled remove from tin and cool again on cooling rack

Step 9

Slice the Banana Bread and enjoy

If after a few days there’s some left but it’s a little dry, pop it into the toaster and spread some butter on top!
