Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 180°C and line baking tray with greaseproof paper

Step 2

In large bowl add dry ingredients and mix with spoon

Step 3

Beat in softened butter to dry ingredients with metal spoon

Step 3

Add vanilla essence and eggs to large bowl and beat in (if you’re nervous about egg shell going into the mix, crack the eggs into a small bowl, whisk and then add to large bowl)

Step 4

Once all ingredients come to form a cookie dough consistency, fold in chocolate chips

Step 5

Either spoon cookie dough on baking tray or use hands to roll dough into small balls, leaving 1 inch space between each one

Step 6

Bake for around 9-10 minutes until cripsy and golden
