Step 1

Prepare a 8×8″ tin/glass dish by lining with the greaseproof paper provided

Step 2

In a large saucepan melt the butter, chocolate and syrup over a medium heat, stir with a wooden spoon until smooth and runny

Once melted pour around 120ml of it into a jug and keep for later

Step 3

Put biscuits into a resealable bag/large bowl and bash the biscuits with the end of a rolling pin/bottom of a glass

Bash into pieces – no smaller than a 10p coin

Step 4

Fold the bisuit pieces into the saucepan mixture and add the marshmallows too

If no other ingredients selected during order skip to Step 6

Step 5

Using a small chopping board and a sharp knife cut up any additions selected (eg. cherries, nuts) into small chunks

Add to the rocky road mixture and stir until everything is coated in chocolate

Step 6

Once everything is coated scoop out mixture into the prepared tin/dish and pat down with spoon

Step 7

Pour the reserved melted chocolate/butter/sugar mixture over the rocky road and spread evenly

If the mixture is not pourable melt in microwave (in microwaveable jug/bowl) in 15 second bursts until melted again

Step 8

Place Rocky road in the fridge for at least 2 hours until set or freeze for 30 minutes/until set

Step 9

Once set, remove from fridge/freezer and leave on countertop to soften for 10 minutes

After 10 minutes cut into squares and enojoy!
